My artistic practice explores the relationship between the organic and the artificial as an expression of the profound transformations contemporary human identity is undergoing. I work at the intersection of body, memory, and system, investigating how technology, artificial structures, and control mechanisms reconfigure perceptions of self, time, and human relationships.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A significant part of my work is figurative, centered on posthuman representations: hybridized bodies in a state of transition, in which flesh and mechanism coexist without apparent conflict. These figures do not describe a speculative future, but reflect an already active process\u2014the internalization of technology as an extension of perception, memory, and decision. Recurring themes include the obsession with perfection, the illusion of immortality, the loss of intimacy, the delegation of the sacred, and the fragmentation of identity.<\/p>

In parallel, I am developing a series of abstract works that function as fragments of memory. The compositions are built from modular structures, worn surfaces, industrial signs and traces of the passage of time. They do not represent recognizable spaces, but affective archives \u2014 layers of experience, mental places and sedimented memories. Here, the relationship between the organic and the artificial is suggested through texture, rhythm and matter, rather than through figure.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

My artistic approach is not narrative or illustrative. I do not seek to provide answers, but to create spaces for reflection. The works propose a suspension of the accelerated rhythm of contemporary reality, inviting the viewer to confront the consequences of progress: what do we lose when we optimize? what remains of the human when identity becomes replicable? what value does memory still have in a world built on continuous updating?<\/p>

I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Baia Mare in 2023 and the Master's program in Painting in 2025, training that supports an artistic practice oriented towards visual and conceptual research. Since 2025 I have been a member of the Union of Fine Artists of Romania \u2013 Baia Mare Branch. My exhibition activity includes over 30 participations in exhibitions in the country, and in 2025 I was present with a work at the London Design Biennale, in a group project.<\/p>

My art is neither a celebration of technology nor a rejection of it. founder ________________________________________ ARTIST STATEMENT My art is a visual investigation into the subtle and unsettling evolution of the human condition in an era where emotion meets machine logic, and memory is filtered through a digital lens. With a background rooted in traditional painting and figurative realism, I engage with themes that orbit around identity, vulnerability, technological interference and spiritual displacement. Each of my works explores the convergence of organic matter and synthetic augmentation\u2014what I often refer to as the threshold body: neither fully human nor entirely machine, suspended in an existential limbo. These hybrid figures embody our contemporary anxieties, born from our pursuit of perfection and our complicity in the gradual surrender of the intimate self to external algorithms. Painting becomes, for me, not just a medium of expression, but an autopsy of the self. A self that is fragmented, scanned, uploaded, and fed back through the lens of idealization. Through carefully controlled compositions and emotionally loaded color palettes, I attempt to unearth moments of disconnection, silence, or breakdown\u2014when the artificial fails to replicate the emotional, and when the emotional resists being reduced to code. This process is both deeply personal and universally resonant. Many of the works originate from autobiographical impulses, recontextualized into archetypes\u2014wounds dressed as gods, regrets hardwired into machines, redemption painted as error messages. My intention is not to critique technology, but to reflect honestly on the emotional costs of our evolution. In a time when artificial intelligence imitates creativity, and identity is curated in pixels, I still believe in the human trace\u2014the imperfect brushstroke, the psychological shadow, the spiritual flicker that cannot be automated. founder ________________________________________ ARTIST STATEMENT My art is a visual investigation into the subtle and unsettling evolution of the human condition in an era where emotion meets machine logic, and memory is filtered through a digital lens. With a background rooted in traditional painting and figurative realism, I engage with themes that orbit around identity, vulnerability, technological interference and spiritual displacement. Each of my works explores the convergence of organic matter and synthetic augmentation\u2014what I often refer to as the threshold body: neither fully human nor entirely machine, suspended in an existential limbo. These hybrid figures embody our contemporary anxieties, born from our pursuit of perfection and our complicity in the gradual surrender of the intimate self to external algorithms. Painting becomes, for me, not just a medium of expression, but an autopsy of the self. A self that is fragmented, scanned, uploaded, and fed back through the lens of idealization. Through carefully controlled compositions and emotionally loaded color palettes, I attempt to unearth moments of disconnection, silence, or breakdown\u2014when the artificial fails to replicate the emotional, and when the emotional resists being reduced to code. This process is both deeply personal and universally resonant. Many of the works originate from autobiographical impulses, recontextualized into archetypes\u2014wounds dressed as gods, regrets hardwired into machines, redemption painted as error messages. My intention is not to critique technology, but to reflect honestly on the emotional costs of our evolution. In a time when artificial intelligence imitates creativity, and identity is curated in pixels, I still believe in the human trace\u2014the imperfect brushstroke, the psychological shadow, the spiritual flicker that cannot be automated.
