Expozi\u021bia a reunit arti\u0219ti proveni\u021bi din medii culturale \u0219i artistice foarte diferite, fiecare investig\u00e2nd corpul nu ca pe o identitate fix\u0103, ci ca pe un spa\u021biu al tranzi\u021biei, transform\u0103rii \u0219i tensiunii dintre uman \u0219i contemporaneitate. \u00cen acest context, Romeo Bud a prezentat lucr\u0103rile Objectification<\/em> \u0219i Relinquishment<\/em>, dou\u0103 picturi care exploreaz\u0103 rela\u021bia fragil\u0103 dintre organic \u0219i artificial, dintre prezen\u021ba emo\u021bional\u0103 \u0219i medierea tehnologic\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pictura ca spa\u021biu de tranzi\u021bie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Practica artistic\u0103 a lui Romeo Bud \u00eembin\u0103 rigoarea picturii tradi\u021bionale \u00een ulei cu teme contemporane inspirate din imaginarul postuman. Lucr\u0103rile sale prezint\u0103 frecvent figuri hibride, suspendate \u00eentre carne \u0219i mecanism, reflect\u00e2nd asupra modului \u00een care tehnologia transform\u0103 percep\u021bia, memoria, identitatea \u0219i rela\u021biile umane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

founder ________________________________________ ARTIST STATEMENT My art is a visual investigation into the subtle and unsettling evolution of the human condition in an era where emotion meets machine logic, and memory is filtered through a digital lens. With a background rooted in traditional painting and figurative realism, I engage with themes that orbit around identity, vulnerability, technological interference and spiritual displacement. Each of my works explores the convergence of organic matter and synthetic augmentation\u2014what I often refer to as the threshold body: neither fully human nor entirely machine, suspended in an existential limbo. These hybrid figures embody our contemporary anxieties, born from our pursuit of perfection and our complicity in the gradual surrender of the intimate self to external algorithms. Painting becomes, for me, not just a medium of expression, but an autopsy of the self. A self that is fragmented, scanned, uploaded, and fed back through the lens of idealization. Through carefully controlled compositions and emotionally loaded color palettes, I attempt to unearth moments of disconnection, silence, or breakdown\u2014when the artificial fails to replicate the emotional, and when the emotional resists being reduced to code. This process is both deeply personal and universally resonant. Many of the works originate from autobiographical impulses, recontextualized into archetypes\u2014wounds dressed as gods, regrets hardwired into machines, redemption painted as error messages. My intention is not to critique technology, but to reflect honestly on the emotional costs of our evolution. In a time when artificial intelligence imitates creativity, and identity is curated in pixels, I still believe in the human trace\u2014the imperfect brushstroke, the psychological shadow, the spiritual flicker that cannot be automated. founder ________________________________________ ARTIST STATEMENT My art is a visual investigation into the subtle and unsettling evolution of the human condition in an era where emotion meets machine logic, and memory is filtered through a digital lens. With a background rooted in traditional painting and figurative realism, I engage with themes that orbit around identity, vulnerability, technological interference and spiritual displacement. Each of my works explores the convergence of organic matter and synthetic augmentation\u2014what I often refer to as the threshold body: neither fully human nor entirely machine, suspended in an existential limbo. These hybrid figures embody our contemporary anxieties, born from our pursuit of perfection and our complicity in the gradual surrender of the intimate self to external algorithms. Painting becomes, for me, not just a medium of expression, but an autopsy of the self. A self that is fragmented, scanned, uploaded, and fed back through the lens of idealization. Through carefully controlled compositions and emotionally loaded color palettes, I attempt to unearth moments of disconnection, silence, or breakdown\u2014when the artificial fails to replicate the emotional, and when the emotional resists being reduced to code. This process is both deeply personal and universally resonant. Many of the works originate from autobiographical impulses, recontextualized into archetypes\u2014wounds dressed as gods, regrets hardwired into machines, redemption painted as error messages. My intention is not to critique technology, but to reflect honestly on the emotional costs of our evolution. In a time when artificial intelligence imitates creativity, and identity is curated in pixels, I still believe in the human trace\u2014the imperfect brushstroke, the psychological shadow, the spiritual flicker that cannot be automated.
